Friday was early release so after school Eli and I headed to the beach for a little while. He LOVES the waves this year, but I have a brand new camera and didn't want to risk taking it near the water... so you'll just have to believe me without visual proof! He is also terrific at "Mark Ball". Today we are going to a cookout and swimming at a friend's house... so we'll have more pictures soon.

Last weekend we took Eli to the North Carolina Potato Festival... his favorite part was the super slide!! But, he also won a sword, which was a close first-runner-up in the "what was your favorite".... you may also notice his fresh new cut by Courtney Uzmann... he looks so grown with no hair!!!

We took Eli and his friend Lindsey to the 64th annual 4H Livestock Show in Elizabeth City... Now they both want pigs and goats... Eli also wants a hippopotamus...
