This is Eli on NFL draft day SCREAMING for help (his dad swears he's smiling)... "HELP COUSIN PHILIP, HELP!!!" Ha ha ha... the poor child has to sit in the middle of the couch... Dad on one side in his Cowboys Tshirt, Mom on the other side in her Portis jersey... He may need to go to a counselor soon.

TIME IS FLYING!!! Eli is 5 weeks old today! He is now 24 inches long (which is really big, he is in the 97th precentile for his age!!) and 11 lbs. 3 oz. WHAT A BEAST! He is really taking on a personality all his own now, which is fun to watch!

Today was Eli's first big day at church so he had to look sharp... :)

Eli is growing like a weed! He has "newborn" clothes that he never got the chance to wear! Now he's into his 8-12 pound clothes! It seems like yesterday that he was swimming in his newborn sleepers! Im excited to see how much he weighs at his 1 month appointment next week!

What are the chances that I am updating twice a day in a month? Right, NOT GOOD... but I'm trying!! Eli slept for 7 hours last night!! Of course, that's on the couch with me... now this week we're going to see if he can sleep 7 hours in HIS bed! He also got his first visit from his Gpa Reger this weekend. He slept through his first big outting... we went to Pizza Inn - he was asleep when we left, we brought him home still sleeping... and is looking forward to his Aunts visiting in a couple of weeks. As for me, I'm heading back to track practice tomorrow while Kevin keeps Eli for a couple of hours in the afternoons. I'm looking forward to being out of the house!

Yes, yes... it's true... Eli has a belly button hole and it's darn cute!

This is the look Eli gives people when they say his middle name wrong... So... here's how it goes:
Wrayth = Ray + "th" (as in "th"ing NOT "th" as in "th"e). My friend Lillian asked me what it rhymes with... but you know what... I haven't thought of anything... Unless you are talking to someone with a lisp... then it probably rhymes with everything!

2 Weeks down, 17 years and 50 weeks to go!!

Our little Eli, 2 weeks old and so independant! When not practicing his alphabet in Spanish, he enjoys playing chess, piano, long walks on the beach and feeding himself.

When women multi-task it means they bath the baby and do laundry at the same time... when Kevin multi-tasks it means he plays video games and feeds the baby at the same time... WHAT A GUY!! :)

Well, it's official... Eli and baths are not the best of friends... but he's sooooo cute when he cries!

Well... What better place to start informing you of our lives than with the new life! Eli Wrayth was born March 23, 2006 via C-section. Despite having the cord wrapped around his neck 4 times he was 100% healthy and not even 48 hours later we were home and enjoying him. He was 7lbs. 10oz. when he was born and is now up to 7lbs. 13oz. I haven't really decided who I think he looks like... but he's cute, so who cares?
